What happens when two moms each move from New York to Miami and meet over sushi in South Beach? They schmooze about their love for Brooklyn, the hummus from Sahadi, and then they decide to start a business together designing and manufacturing a product about what else – diapers.

Over one year later, with many, many trials and lots and lots of tribulations (not to mention a few babysitters) my royal heinie™ was born. The newest addition to our respective families, my royal heinie™ has been given almost as much love and attention as Oliver (age 1), Zoe (age 2) and Molly (age 4) combined.

We are proud to be joining the ranks of other mom entrepreneurs out there, which have proven that necessity truly is the mother of invention. The need to create, innovate, and put our powerful minds to work has spawned some of the most exciting new companies and products on the market. This new cottage industry might include a few kids, a dog and a two-car garage, but it is serious business.

We hope other moms (and dads, too) will enjoy the benefits of this product. We thought very carefully about each aspect of its design. We wanted to provide a smarter solution to what is currently out there. Lord knows, there are a lot of great looking diaper bags to choose from. So when we came up with the internal wipes dispenser idea, we knew we were on to something.

And yes, my royal heinie™ is about fun and fashion, but first and foremost it is about making our jobs as moms a little bit easier, a little more cushy, a bit more royal.
