My Royal Heinie and Baby K’tan mix it up in Kentucky

As the official launch of the joint venture between My Royal Heinie and Baby K'tan baby carriers, the two companies had a ball together at the ABC Kids Spring Conference. In between sipping mint juleps and chowing down on derby pie, we enjoyed spending time with our industry colleagues. Here's Sheri (and the cutest baby ever!) from Magic Beans testing out the goods... my friend Erika of Strollermama, mixing business with pleasure...and a little R&R with our new friend Gregory from Chicken Little. Here's to Louisville '11!!

Co-founder Karen Rappaport honored by March of Dimes

In celebration of Mother's Day, the March of Dimes honored MRH co-founder Karen Rappaport for her commitment to career, family and community as part of its Life to the Fullest Power campaign to prevent premature births. Emmy Award winning Actress Finola Hughes (General Hospital, the Style Network) presented the award along with the fabulous and funny Miami Bombshells. Congratulations, Karen!

Unlike traditional baby wipe brands, which use a blend of polyester, polypropylene, cotton, wood pulp, and/or rayon fibers, Elements Naturals™ baby wipes are made from 100% Ingeo™ fibers, the world's first man-made fiber from annually renewable resources. Extruded from NatureWorks™ PLA, a naturally based material made from plants, not oil, Ingeo™ fibers are free of chemical additives or surface treatments. Their production requires 68% less fossil fuel resources than the traditional oil-based materials; and with the purchase of wind power-based Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) uses 90% fewer greenhouse gases(GHG) than traditional synthetic wipes.
